Laurence Arroyo, ang reklamo ay may kaugnayan sa Facebook post ni Barzaga noong Enero 9 na nagsasaad na, “NUP (National Unity Party) Congressmen received bribes from Enrique Razon in various gatherings in Solaire prior to the 2025 elections in exchange for supporting Speaker Martin Romualdez [of Leyte].”
“The basis of this complaint is our position that what he said is false and malicious,” saad ni Arroyo sa mga mamamahayag.
“The allegations are baseless, reckless, and malicious... We will see him in court, since he chose to malign all members of the NUP—a party once led by his own father and one that he himself joined," ayon kay Puno.
“I will reveal the evidence once I return to Congress," ayon sa kongresista. — Llanesca T. Panti/FRJ GMA Integrated News
