Isang Pilipina ang nasawi sa pag-atake ng isang missile sa Haifa, Israel nitong Linggo, ayon sa Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) nitong Martes.
"The Department of Foreign Affairs expresses deep sorrow over the death of a Filipina national who was killed in a missile attack on a residence in Haifa, Israel on the evening of 05 April 2026," sabi ng DFA sa isang pahayag.
Nasawi rin ang Israeli na asawa ng biktima, at ang kaniyang mga biyenang matatanda na, dagdag ng DFA.
"The Philippine Embassy in Tel Aviv has informed the family and is providing all necessary assistance, including arrangements for the earliest possible repatriation of her remains despite the current travel situation in the region," sabi nito.
"The Department is also reaching out to support the family during this difficult time," dagdag pa ng pahayag.
Ayon sa ahensiya, humiling ang pamilya ng biktima ng privacy para makapagluksa.
