Kinapos ang pambato ng Pilipinas na si Ahtisa Manalo sa Miss Universe 2025 pageant na itinanghal na 3rd Runner-Up. Ang korona, iginawad kay Fátima Bosch ng Mexico.

Ito ang unang pagkakataon mula noong 2021 na nakapasok ang Pilipinas sa Top 5, matapos ni Beatrice Luigi Gomez. Mayroong 120 kandidata sa naturang patimpalak.

Sa coronation night na idinaos sa Impact Muong Thong Thani Arena sa Bangkok, Thailand, rumampa si Athisa na suot ang white two-piece sa swimsuit portion, at elegant silver piece naman sa evening gown portion.

Sa question and answer portion, tinanong si Ahtisa at kasama niya sa Top 5 candidates ng, “If you win the title of Miss Universe tonight, how would you use this platform to empower young girls?"

Tugon dito ni Ahtisa, “I work with an organization called Alon Akademie where we work with young people to provide them opportunities to make them realize that it doesn’t matter what your life circumstances is, it doesn’t define where you will go. And I want to continue working with Alon Academy in a platform like Miss Universe to pursue making sure that people from low-income backgrounds are given the same opportunities like everyone else.”

Samantala, si Fátima Bosch na mula sa Mexico ang itinanghal na Miss Universe 2025. Ipinasa sa kaniya ni reigning queen Victoria Theilvig ng Denmark, ang korona.

Ang pambato ng Thailand na si Praveenar Singh ang first runner-up, at si Vanessa Pulgarin ng Venezuela ang second runner-up.

Sa question and answer portion, tinanong si Fatima ng: “In your perspective, what are the challenges of being a woman in 2025 and how would you use the title of Miss Universe to create a safe space for women around the world?”

Ang sagot niya, “As a woman, as Miss Universe, I will put my voice and the power in the service of others. Because nowadays, we are here to speak up, to make change, and have everything. Because we are women and the brave ones that stand up are the ones that will make history.”

Sa final question na, “If you win the title of Miss Universe tonight, how would you use this platform to empower young girls?,” ang naging tugon niya rito: “As Miss Universe, I will say to them, believe in the power of your authenticity. Believe in yourself. Your dreams matter, your heart matters. And never let anyone make you doubt about your worth, because you are worth everything. And you are powerful and your voice needs to be heard.”
