Ilang paaralan at unibersidad ang nagpasya na walang face-to-face at magpapatupad ng alternative learning modalities, o online classes sa Huwebes, March 26, 2026 dahil sa inaasahang epekto ng transport strike.
Narito ang mga paaralan at unibersidad na nag-anunsyo na walang face-to-face class:
- Laguna province: All level, public and private; shift to modular or online learning. Kasama rin sa direktiba ni Gov. Sol Aragones na tanging face to face classes lang sinuspinde at maaaring ituloy ng mga paaralan ang graduation, recognition at practices.
- University of Santo Tomas: Enriched virtual mode of instruction
- University of the East: For March 26 & 27:
- Basic Ed Manila and Caloocan, CFAD – Asynchronous
- CDent Didactic Classes – Online Synchronous
- CDent Clinics – Face-to-Face
- CDent Laboratory Classes – Face-to-Face* or Online Synchronous
- * Laboratory classes to be conducted at the discretion of the faculty with appropriate leniency.
- All other Colleges and Graduate School – Online Synchronous
- FEU Diliman: Academic and Work Operations Schedule ( March 26-27, 2026)
- Due to the announced transport strike, the final examinations on March 26 and 27, 2026 for the Tertiary level have been rescheduled.
- Classes in Kinder to Grade 10 will shift to online synchronous on March 26 and 27.
- Senior High classes will shift to online synchronous on March 26 and March 27.
- University of the Philippines Diliman: Faculty members are encouraged to shift to remote or asynchronous modes of learning. They may also opt to conduct scheduled activities on-site in consultation with their students.
- University of the Philippines Manila: Faculty members are encouraged to shift to synchronous or asynchronous modes of learning.
- Polytechnic University of the Philippines: Classes across all campuses and academic extension programs will shift to an online modality, synchronous or asynchronous.
- Tarlac State University: Undergraduate and graduate classes will shift to flexible learning modalities.
- U.P. Integrated School: Classes to shift to remote mode, classes will be conducted either synchronously or asynchronously.
- Adamson University: Classes on March 26, 27, and 28 to be conducted online, including those under the Graduate Studies Program except for the College of Law.
