“We should not and cannot respond to every comment. We should rise above any anger, resentment, and bitterness we may have. We should move on, move forward, and must continue to do our job,” saad ni Escudeto sa kaniyang talumpati.
“We should not and cannot bow to a mob. We will not be cowed by the shrillest of voices. We will stand up for what is right, what is just, and what is consistent with the Rule of Law and our Constitution. That we disagree does not mean that you are right and I am wrong, or that I am right and you are wrong,” dagdag niya.
Raymond Democrito Mendoza
Lakas-CMD na kinatawan ni Quezon Rep. Jayjay Suarez
Nationalist People’s Coalition na kinatawan ni Quezon Rep. Mark Enverga
Nacionalista Party na kinatawan ni Misamis Oriental Rep. Yevgeny Emano
National Unity Party na kinatawan ni Antipolo Rep. Ronaldo Puno
Partido Federal ng Pilipinas na kinatawan ni Ilocos Norte Rep. Ferdinand Alexander Marcos.
"I rise today to nominate a man whose leadership has been tested, proven, and deeply felt across this chamber and beyond: the Honorable Ferdinand Martin G. Romualdez. In the 19th Congress, Speaker Romualdez steered this institution with both resolve and wisdom," ayon kay Suarez.
"Under his stewardship, the House of Representatives became a true House of the People — responsive to the needs of the nation, attuned to the voice of the common Filipino, and anchored in the values of unity, service, and progress," dagdag niya.
