Nagbalik-tanaw si Tessa Prieto sa hiwalayan nila ng dating asawa na si Dennis Valdes matapos ang 26 na taong pagsasama dahil sa pagtataksil umano nito sa kaniya. Sa kabila ng nangyari, mahal pa rin kaya si Tessa si Dennis? Alamin.

“It was more like — just before the pandemic, I felt that we're, the usual, fighting but not saying anything. And then I realized that he was working more during the pandemic. “Sabi ko, ‘Ano, parang, really? Are you like Muslim or something?’ And to think, to clarify that statement, ‘yung mga Muslim pala, how interesting, you get a second wife but the first wife has to agree. So sabi ko, ‘I'm not agreeing.’ Kasi sabi ko, sinama na mag-agree, 'di ba? And I felt like, she's a friend of my kids. Yung age gap nila, 36 years,” sabi ni Tessa.

Nakiusap umano si Tessa kay Dennis na bigyan muli ng pagkakataon ang kanilang pagsasama bilang mag-asawa. Hindi rin daw niya kinausap ang babae na nakarelasyon umano ng mister.

“I felt that, you could see na, si Dennis ang nag-pursue. If I, you know what, looking back, I should've just said, ‘Get out!’” saad niya.

Dagdag pa niya, kay Dennis dapat manggaling na gusto nitong ayusin ang kanilang relasyon.

“I'm looking back and said, I could've put my foot down. But I said, it had to be Dennis to say, I want to fix our marriage,” saad niya.

Para kay Tessa, wala siyang ginawang mali sa kanilang relasyon. Ngunit labis na ikinasakit ng kaniyang damdamin na hindi binigyan ni Dennis ng pagkakataon ang kanilang kasal.

“I'm super Ms. No Regret. And what did I do wrong? Nothing,” giit niya. “And I felt the most hurt kasi, why didn't you really give us a chance talaga? And I cleared it out. ‘Ah, you want me to be in a black dress?’ Okay. ‘You want me to be simple? I will.’”

Dagdag pa ni Tessa, gagawin niya ang lahat para sana maayos ang relasyon nila ni Dennis.

“Everything. Alam mo, I'll do anything for love, for marriage. I'm all out. I said like, I'm always over the top the way I dress. That's the way I am. That's the way I love. And you can't change that anymore,” pahayag niya.

Pag-amin ni Tessa, pinakasalan siya ni Dennis sa kabila ng kaniyang pagiging “gay” at single mom.

“He married me knowing I was gay and a single mom. I was gay before I got married also,” sabi niya. “Not an issue.”

Engagement ni Dennis

Hanggang sa inanunsyo ni Dennis na engaged na ito sa babae.

“Nagalit ako kasi firstly, early this year, silang dalawa kasi naka-private account. Okay, fine. ‘Di ba? That's your life. He moved to Coron.”

“January, silang dalawa ha, nag-public post in their IG. So they have been collabing pictures together. Their dives in Maldives or nag-birthday niya, her 29th birthday in Baguio, then it was, you know, videos of them.”

Labis na nasaktan si Tessa dahil gusto ni Dennis noon ng pribadong buhay, pero isinapubliko nito ang relasyon nito sa babae.

“Doon ako nasaktan kasi ‘di ba sabi niya, ‘Ayokong private. I mean, I don't want to have a public life or something.’ And kayo nagpa-public.”

Nakadagdag pa sa sakit ng kaniyang damdamin, na ginagawa nina Dennis at ng babae, ang mga bagay na dati nilang ginagawa.

“But you know what, in the end, it's a closure for me,” patuloy niya.
