Isang babaeng OFW ang nasawi sa United Arab Emirates matapos mahulog mula sa ikatlong palapag ng isang gusali sa Ajman noong nakaraang linggo, ayon sa Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA).
Sa pahayag ng DFA nitong Lunes, hindi binanggit ang pangalan ng OFW pero sinabing 22-taong-gulang ang biktima.
Ayon kay Consul General Paul Raymond Cortes ng Philippine Consulate General sa Dubai, sinabi ng DFA na nangyari ang insidente noong November 23 at hindi na umabot nang buhay sa Sheikh Khalifa Hospital ang biktima.
"Consul General Cortes said the Consulate General is in touch with the relatives of the deceased and is closely coordinating with Ajman authorities in the investigation of her death and in the repatriation of her remains," ayon sa DFA. — FRJ, GMA News
