Nagluluksa ang aktres na si Bela Padilla sa pagpanaw ng kaniyang ama na si Cornelio Sullivan. Sa kabila ng kalungkutan, may ipinagpapasalamat ang aktres.
Sa Instagram, nag-post nitong Lunes ng gabi si Bela ng mga larawan na kasama niya ang kaniyang ama na may nakasaad na, “Life really is a series of highs and lows.”
Sa kabila ng kalungkutan dahil sa pagpanaw ng ama, ipinagpapasalamat ng aktres na hindi nakaranasan ng matinding sakit si daddy Cornelio.
“Our dad passed away last night in his sleep and that is my only consolation in all of this. He wasn’t in pain and he hopefully was dreaming of the happy times in his life,” ani Bela.
Ibinahagi rin ni Bela ang “most beautiful thing” na sinabi ng kaniyang kapatid na si Ceri: “My dad loved us, his children, deeply. And he also loved himself. And that certainly is true. My dad loved life and lived his life to the fullest he could.”
Idinagdag ng aktres na alam ng kaniyang ama ang mga magagandang lugar sa bansa na pinupuntahan nito at laging nakikikanta sa mga banda na tumutugtog sa mga bar.
“I love the water and I dive deeply because he taught me to swim and be fearless in the water at such an early age," sabi ni Bela. "His ability to see a problem and think of several solutions first before reacting is something I try to practice.”
Dagdag pa niya, “He never took no for an answer when he believed something was right and he made sure that everybody knew what ‘right’ was.”
Hindi rin daw niya nakitang nagalit o nainis ang kaniyang ama.
“He was very empathetic but still madly funny,” aniya. “And he gave the best hugs, never letting go first.”
Sinabi ni Bela na hindi niya malilimutan ang mga alaala ng kaniyang ama.
“I will always wish for one more day, but that would be unfair. For now, and until paradise comes, the memories will tide us over,” anang aktres. — FRJ, GMA Integrated News
