“The Consulate General of the Philippines in Hong Kong has received a police notification on the death of a 17-year old Filipino male who fell from Chau Tsai Bridge in Peng Chau last Friday evening. Official reports indicate that he was brought to Pamela Youde Nethersole Hospital by the Hong Kong Government Flying Service but was, unfortunately, declared dead shortly thereafter," nakasaad sa pahayag ng konsulado na makikita sa kanilang Facebook page ngayong Lunes.
"Nevertheless, the Hong Kong Police see no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death at this point in time," dagdag nito.
"The Consulate General wishes to extend its deepest condolences and prayers to the child’s family and requests the public to respect the family’s privacy at this difficult time and to refrain from spreading baseless speculations about the child’s death," ayon pa sa pahayag. — FRJ GMA News
